Journal

Brittany Williamson ENGL1065 9/24/09 Journal 3: Singing in the Rain I really enjoyed watching Singing in the Rain again. My first time seeing the movie was in the twelfth grade. I really wasn’t focused as much or remembered some of the convulsions. Usually I’m not interested in musicals but this has got to be wiz of the shell I’ve ever seen. It captures the interest of someone who would not generally be attracted to a musical. I love how the din scene starts away with sarcasm then there is an jell sense of humor. For the first time I actually point out specific ele custodyts in a guide such as the editing, mise en scene, and motion-picture photography. The best mise en scene theoretical account was the flashback when arrogate Lockwood states that he learned everything he knew from his parents and the best bounce schools. The flashback shows him as a churl dancing in bothersome share halls with Cosmo. Another interesting example of mise en scene that caught my spunk was another flashback scene—when Don and Cosmo reach Hollywood. The undercoat is unendingly changing and showing distinct cities and towns.

It lets the audience cheat the men have traveled far performing different acts— essentially to show the passing of time. The sound editing comes into tactics the roughly when Don Lockwood narrates the flashbacks and gives details on what was going on. The best example was when it showed him being embarrassed as a child even off after he says the quote, “Dignity, always Dignity.” The cinematography is recognized when it shows a medium shot of a hoarding ! that advertises the horror film the boys sneak into. The camera then zooms out and starts to pan as the boys sneak in the theater. If you want to germinate a expert essay, order it on our website: OrderCustomPaper.com
